The Bim Skala Bim 40th Anniversary Tour comes to Scottish Dave's Pub with special guests King Django and El Grande. The Show is $25 and includes a buffet dinner.

Bim Skala Bim (Boston) - Formed in Boston in 1983, Bim was influenced by the bands in England's two-tone movement as well as artists such as the Clash, UB40 and Bob Marley. Their "Boston Blue Beat" sound, a mix of upbeat two-tone ska, rock 'n' roll, and calypso with a substantial reggae undertone, made them one of the first bands kickstarting the third wave of ska in the 1980s. Other bands quickly followed their example, resulting in a lively scene in Boston and much of the United States. Bim Skala Bim is celebrating 40 years together with a special tour featuring all 7 original members!

King Django (NYC) - King Django draws influences from ska, rocksteady, reggae, dub, dancehall, rhythm & blues and soul and more. Django has toured many times throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, and Japan as the leader of Stubborn All-Stars, Skinnerbox, and the King Django Band and as a sideman with such renowned acts as Rancid, Murphy's Law, The Slackers, and The Toasters.

El Grande (ME) - Attitude fueled by rock and roll and punk ethics gives life to El Grande‘s original brand of ska. A fixture in the talented Portland, Maine music scene, El Grande has been playing shows throughout the northeast for the past decade, winning over ska purists and skeptics of the punk scene. The group delivers high energy concerts and tight songs in their live performances, always proving to be memorable and unpredictable.
